The high end smart phones that are mostly in flip or clam shell phone forms and touch screen candy bar form phones have become a long history. In China, things are different and Samsung has introduced a wonderful new Android flip phone which comes with dual sim slots ,dual-core processor and dual AMOLED screens. The device in question is Samsung’s W999 which is expected to go on sale in China in early 2012.
This new phone has dual-screen, dual-core, which is squeezed into a clamshell. It has a two 3.5-inch OLED screens. It has a 800×480 resolution which means real-estate is not an issue at all. The device is powered by a dual-core 1.2GHz chip. It helps in making sure that the performance is of high quality. It’s running Android Gingerbread. It also has a traditional navigational keys and keypad which is serving to bring in mind of yesteryear that complements the touch screen.
Samsung releases a variety of devices that helps people find the right kind of technology that fits a person’s desire best.The company has come up with the W999 dual-screen clamshell dual-core Android phone.It costs one something around US $1,570(10,000 yuan in its launch country-China) that clearly aims at rich businessmen with massive fingers.It has a 1.2GHz processor and also a dual-core along with Gingerbread,as mentioned earlier.The specifications list of the brand new device also comprises of WiFi ,Bluetooth 3.0, and WAPI (China’s own WiFi standard).

This brand new handset is powered by Google’s Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system. On top of it, this phone also sports the Touch Wiz interface.
For better anti-smear and better grip , the new hand set is said to come with the same Hyper Skin back cover which is also sported by Galaxy Nexus. Along with all these wonderful features the new mobile phone also sports a 1.2GHz application processor , a dual-core Qualcomm MSM8660, which results in increased performance capabilities that are being delivered to users. Till date, no specific price tag has been attached to the new phone and also no release date for this new mobile phone has been unveiled.
However, rumors are doing the rounds that it would be completely set to arrive on international shops and showrooms sometime in 2012. There are speculations of the price tag that this new mobile phone may be priced somewhere near $1,400 .One thing is very clear about the new device that due to it’s new design as well as due to the powerful hardware that Samsung packed it with this mobile set seems to be standing up in the crowd.
It would not be quite surprising if Samsung announces a large amount of sales of this new handset as the Chinese market is already taking the number one position in sales from US.
