It is said that a picture speaks a thousand words, but what can it speak if its quality is not satisfactory? Here comes the Panasonic Lumix GX1.

A photograph must leave an impression in one’s mind. One must be able to relish a good photograph. And all factors lie in the hands of the photographer.

The Lumix GX1 is Panasonic’s latest addition to its long list of beautiful products. Out into the market, just freshly baked from the oven, the new Lumix GX1 features a 16.01 megapixel Live MOS sensor and Venus Engine. Real to life images, crafted through excellent resolution, image rendering and color reproduction are the property of the Lumix GX1. Its compact size enables it to be carried in everywhere.

The Panasonic Lumix GX1 is not deterred by low light conditions, and can comfortably shoot videos and produce stunning images.

The Panasonic Lumix GX1 belongs to the award wining Lumix series and has inherited many features of its predecessors.

Focusing is controlled by the Contrast AF and high accuracy is guaranteed when shot with bright lens having small F value. The accuracy of the Phase difference AF is just 60% while the Contrast AF speaks of 90% accuracy. The Lumix AF operates at nearly the speed of light taking only 0.09 seconds. The AFF, a newly added mode of the Panasonic Lumix GX1, locks onto the subject when the shutter button is half pressed, but can reset to give the best results if the subject moves

The most intriguing factor of the Panasonic Lumix GX1 is that it comes with a touch screen to control its operations. The 460,000 dot wide viewing angle LCD enables users to release the shutter by just a touch on the screen. One can choose from 1-area AF, Multi area AF with 23 AF areas and Pinpoint AF that allows extremely precise focusing.

With an appreciable recording feature at 1920×1080 at 60i, with 30psensor output, one can bag full-high definition videos in the AVCHD format excelling in both compression efficiency and compatibility. Playback features using AV equipment, high quality sound recorded with Dolby Digital stereo Creator can make anybody a pro in the art of photography. Recorded in MP4 format, the videos need not be converted to play on a computer or other electronic devices.

The Panasonic Lumix comes leaded with many features that only set it apart from the rest.

Sony’s been pretty generous with the Alpha leaks in the run up to this launch, but it looks like this new trio of DSLRs for “first time” SLR buyers, the Alpha 230, 330 and 380, is ready to go. The press release confirms all of what we already knew, along with bringing word that the cameras will support SD/SDHC cards in addition to Sony’s still-kicking Memory Stick format. The best news is in pricing, however: the shooters will retail in two different kit types, with the L-series cams ringing in at $550, $650 and $850, respectively, when paired with the SAL-1855 standard zoom lens…engadget.com

The new Sony Dslr ALPHA’s model is designed special for the newbie in DSLR photography. It’s easier to get the great photo without the traditional step of using DSLR. The models are easy to handle with the elegence specs such as smaller, lighter with the innovative expansion option.

“By overcoming the obstacles, we’ve made it much easier for newcomers to take great pictures with DSLRs.” said Kristen Elder, senior manager for the alpha business at Sony Electronics Inc.

The ?380L, ?330L and ?230L will cost about $850, $650 and $550, respectively. The L series one-lens kit comes with the SAL-1855 standard zoom lens.

The ?380Y, ?330Y and ?230Y will cost about $1050, $850 and $750, respectively. The Y series two-lens kit comes with both the SAL-1855 standard zoom and SAL-55200 telephoto zoom lenses.

The SAL-1855 standard zoom lens will cost about $200.

The SAL-55200 telephoto zoom lens will cost about $230.

The SAL-50F18 portrait lens will cost about $150…photorumors.com
